RACHAEL WOOD
Rach studied English literature at A-Level, then went on to study Visual Merchandising and 3D Design after becoming obsessed with window displays and prop-making.
After working for John Lewis as a Visual Merchandiser, Rach started PolyWood in 2013 as a way to have some real creative freedom, doing event dressing for hotels and building props,
She continued with this as well as making gifts and homewares while she worked at Yell.com as a website editor, moving onto client management and eventually process improvement.

SEAN TROTH
Sean completed a Foundation course in Art & Design at the famous Bournville college, then went on to study Illustration at Plymouth University in 2003.

He worked with friends designing websites for three years, before taking an opportunity to work as part of a larger team in the website department at Yell.com, where he went on to hold various positions: first, as deputy manager of websites, then as technical support team leader, and later as manager of a team of seven people in the department for 'Connect', Yell.com's leading digital marketing product.

RACH & SEAN
In 2019, in a burst of spontaneity, Rach and Sean decided to leave their day jobs, buy and convert a van and travel around Europe. To top up travel funds they started bidding for freelance digital marketing and design work as PolyWood Studios and the business has been growing ever since!
Rach concentrates on client relationships, Social Media management, bespoke gifts and props.
Sean is the lead designer for websites and branding. He also turns his hand to acrylic painting, his mouse to digital portraits, and his ire to tax return responsibilities.
